Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She's best known for her role as Bo in the Showcase TV series Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were both scholars. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. Silk is the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers her very first memory as being at play rehearsals with her mom. Silk made several commercials while she was still in the midst of her childhood. She completed her studies at St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Early theater work includes two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999, to keep acting. Then she moved to Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met at an Actorsworkshop held located in Los Angeles. They were engaged in 2009 and married with a civil ceremony the month of December in that same year. When she converted to Judaism the couple renewed their wedding vows at an Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th of May 2016. Silk is famous for her tv role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was awarded a nomination by the Gemini Awards. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk made it known to her fans that she was expecting a baby in January 2013 during an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season and on June 20 2013 Silk tweeted that she was back to work on the show. The CNN Cable News Network named her performance as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved television Couples. E! named them the Top Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. As a result of the show's popularity, Silk has earned a significant internet following via social media.
